Master Class: “The Urgency of Now” With The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright Jr.

Vision for the Master Class: The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference has established a Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Institute, which will include an annual post-conference Master Class. The inaugural class, “The Urgency of Now”, will be led by Dr. Wright. Participants will be afforded the opportunity to hear and engage Dr. Wright’s insights from 58 years of preaching experience and over 40 years of pastoral ministry. Dr. Wright’s ministry legacy remains anchored in the tradition of Black Liberation Theology.

Leadership Transition Planning
This Master Class is designed within an intimate space to support small group discussions, questions and answers, and an opportunity to do a deep dive into critical issues that both challenge and promote personal and professional growth. Ultimately, participants in the Master Class will be exposed to a unique mentor-mentee relationship building opportunity that will help to cultivate and solidify a best practice community among African American Scholars, Pastors, Activists and Seminarians.
Schedule: The Master Class will begin on Thursday, February 15th at 2:00 P.M., and will end Friday, February 16th at 3:00 P.M. Participants will depart Memphis Friday afternoon.
Price: $900.00 per participant (limited to the first 20 participants who submit payment)
